STUDENT EXPRESSION THROUGH ART
Our amazing art teacher, Ali Mainhart, has created stunning virtual galleries to showcase the art of our ESMS students.
More projects to come, and all students will be featured in at least one gallery.  Enjoy!

Upon entering the galleries, click on individual artworks for a closeup and artist information.
Depending on your device, the images may load slowly, but the inventiveness on display is well worth the wait.

Children Need Your Support

In these trying times of the pandemic, the less fortunate needs help more than ever; NYC District 2 currently has more than 1700 homeless families in 16 shelters.

The CECD2 (Community Educational Council, District 2) has organized a community outreach project, called STH (Students in Temporary Housing). East Side Middle School PTA has been paired with a shelter called Children Rescue Fund House East, which is housing 142 families, with approximately 160 school aged children.

Kindly consider making a donation to help the STH families in the Children Rescue Fund House East shelter.  By making a purchase via the Amazon link below, you can ship your donations directly to the shelter.

Be  sure to select "Childrens Rescue Fund House East's Gift Registry Address" as the delivery address.
