After-School Program Information
ESMS AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
PROVIDED BY MANHATTAN YOUTH
Spring classes begin on Monday, March 11. Information and registration for the Spring trimester classes is below! Spring Schedule can be viewed here.
- LEGO Robotics, Theater and Debate are not accepting new students. Please only sign-up for these classes if your child is continuing from the Winter.
- Fencing, Visual Art, and Photography are now double session classes (3:30-5:45pm).
- If your child attended, or will attend a tryout this week, there will be a tryout section on the registration. If your child makes a team, their schedule will be manually updated.
- We are excited to offer Cooking on Wednesdays and Fridays. Please only select one day of cooking to allow more students the opportunity. Both days will make the same meal. Students will learn proper food handling, storage and sanitation, essential knife skills, kitchen terms and tools, as well as pouring, and measuring. Each class concludes with a meal and a discussion about food.
- We are also excited to bring back Classic Stage Company as a first session option on Mondays. This will be our sixth year collaborating with Classic Stage Company, who will provide us with a Teaching Artist for the class. The class will explore several stories while delving into the themes and topics that are relevant to our students. This class will culminate with an invitation to the CSC stage in Union Square.
Registration for Spring classes will be available on Thursday, March 7 at 12pm. Click here to register.
